Statement Concerning Coronavirus (COVID-19) 3/13/20
As we all know, the heightened measures taken by government officials on a local, state and federal level due to the coronavirus has affected us all. The rapidly changing situation has forced organizations and people to react accordingly based on recommendations and orders of public health officials.
As such, St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church has taken the following steps in helping our greater community effectively fight against this virus.
* St. Garabed suspended fellowship after Church until further notice.
* Sunday Services will continue as scheduled, however we strongly urge those of you who are 60 or older or have health concerns to stay at home. We also, urge those who have symptoms associated with COVID-19 or have family members who have symptoms to please stay at home and do not attend service out of abundance of caution.
The Armenian Apostolic Church does not administer Holy Communion nor do we share the Kiss of Peace during Great Lent. We will update everyone as necessary before Palm Sunday April 5, 2020.
St. Garabed will continue to monitor and make appropriate decisions during this dynamic situation.
